Teri Noel Does What She Gotta Do at DON'T TELL MAMA

DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/) presents Teri Noel for the return engagement of her show, "Do What You Gotta Do," with shows on Sunday April 28th at 6:00 pm and again on Saturday May 11th at 4:00 pm. There is a music charge $12, (1/2 off MAC) plus a 2-drink minimum.

This is Teri's third appearance at DON'T TELL MAMA, having previously presented two shows at DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (342 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/). Teri has also appeared in several at THE TRIAD (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2590) as part of "The Singing Experience." Linda Amiel Burns continues as her director. This is Teri's first show with her new musical director, Brian Hurley. Ms. Burns remarked that their vocals are well matched and their musical styles make for a terrific partnership.

Teri has an emotional, "kick-ass" style that grabs one's attention from the first number, "Do What You Gotta Do," to the last notes of "Beautiful," which closes the show. She reveals a depth of passion on standards such as "You and the Night and the Music," along with a vulnerability on Billy Joel's "Shameless." She is at home on the stage and her audiences leave feeling empowered and uplifted.
