GOLDRICH AND HEISLER BRING BACK SOLD-OUT SHOW TO KING KONG ROOM

The New York-based award-winning songwriting team of composer Zina Goldrich and lyricist Marcy Heisler are reprising their sold-out show at KING KONG ROOM at the Supper Club (240 West 47th Street, NYC - 1-212-921-1904 - http://www.KingKongRoom.com/) on Monday, September 22nd at 8:30 pm. They will be joined by some of Broadway and Off-Broadway's finest voices to sing selections from their upcoming songbook "TAYLOR THE LATTE BOY ... and other stories."

In 2002, Goldrich and Heisler were recipients of the ASCAP Foundation Richard Rodgers New Horizons Theatre Award. They joined composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim, winner of the Richard Rodgers Lifetime Achievement Award, and were honored along with the other foundation award recipients at a ceremony at the Walter Reade Theatre at Lincoln Center.

The double-Bistro and Quadruple MAC Award winners have toured both nationally and internationally, performing their music at some of the world's most prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Canada's "Juste Pour Rire" comedy festival and the Kennedy Center. Their song, "Taylor, the Latte Boy" was sung by Kristin Chenoweth on both the Rosie O'Donnell Show and NPR's Prairie Home Companion.

Goldrich and Heisler, together and separately, have written for Disney Interactive and Feature Animation, CBS, NBC, Nickelodeon and PBS. CD samplers and sheet music are available by e-mailing: marcyandzina@aol.com, and a website is currently in the works.
