Or Not" is a musical comedy tribute to Helen Reddy, written by and
starring Joanna Parson and Lance Werth at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West
46th Street, NYC - 1-212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmama.com/).
Performances will be on Tuesdays, September 16th, 23rd and 30th at
6:00 pm and Thursdays, October 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th at 9:00 pm.
There is a $12, and 2-drink minimum. CABARET

REDDY OR
NOT! is a collection of the music of 1970s Grammy Award-winning songstress,
Helen Reddy. It's not a re-hash of Reddy's Greatest Hits like "I Am
Woman," "You and Me Against the World," and "Ain't No Way to Treat
a Lady," rather Joanna and Lance put their tongues firmly in their
cheeks and take a fresh and funny look at Reddy's music and the effect
it had on their lives. It is an evening of hilarity for people who
love "Pete's Dragon"... and those who don't!
Joanna Parson
is a well-known figure on the cabaret and comedy circuit. She has
performed at The Comedy Store in LA, in a National Tour of "Buddy:
the Buddy Holly Story," on WNYC's radio program, "The Next Big Thing,"
and at DON'T TELL MAMA in her one-person show "What Good Girls Get."
Lance Werth's writing and performing credits include appearing with
Mary Birdsong at the 2002 Aspen Comedy Festival and successful Off-Off
Broadway comedies like "Night of the Crab," "The Nancys - A Broadway
Family," and "Vulture!" Lance taught sketch comedy writing at Gotham
City Improve for four years.

NOT! is directed by Joe McDonnell ("Urinetown" - Fringe Festival 2000;
"Maybe, Baby, It's You" - Miranda & Here; "Living Doll" - The Duplex)
with musical direction by Barbara Anselmi ("My Favorite Year," "The
New Yorkers," "Roar of the Greasepaint").
