A HOUSE UNITED PRODUCTIONS presents "SOMEWHERE, THROUGH A CLEARING..." a song cycle of faith and love for our time at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 1-212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/) for a limited engagement February 7th through 29th. Incorporating songs of popular, contemporary theatrical and cabaret songwriters, the show explores modern relationships, the trials and the ecstasies of trusting love and the impact the journey has on those around us. Directors are Kimberly Vaughn and Dathan B. Williams, and Musical Director is Dick Gallagher. Tickets are $12 to $18, with a 2-drink minimum. $5 discount for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.

The show features songs by Carl Allocco, John Bucchino, Craig Carnelia, David Friedman/Amanda McBroom, Dick Gallagher/DB Anthony & Parker Scott, Dick Gallagher/Lina Koutrakos, Ricky Ian Gordon, Michael Gore/Dean Pitchford, Adam Guettel, Michael Holland, Brian Lasser, Andrew Lippa, and Jann Arden Richards. Performers include Billy Eichner, Mary Mossberg, Marilyn OÕConnell, Julie Reyburn, Parker Scott, Daniel Spiotta, Scott Tucker and Kimberly Vaughn.

"SOMEWHERE, THROUGH A CLEARING..." presents an exciting, barbed edge glimpse of the frustrated yet determined lives of ordinary people, with whom the audience will readily and personally identify. When we choose to stop hiding in the shadows of fear and ritual we are free to emerge into the light of acceptance. Then heaven is not a figurative place. It is here on earth and peace and love are possible. This is the clearing. Through our song cycle, "Somewhere, Through A Clearing...," experience life in a new way.
